Although my actual physical writing is getting more and more limited, I typically choose pencil. The reason for that is it is a much cleaner look for those of us that make mistakes. An added bonus of using pencil is that it lasts much longer than the inks that are used in the low cost pens of today. So 100 years from now someone can still read my intro to physics notebook.
