slax is what is called a live cd distribution of Linux, meaning you burn to a CD or usb flash drive and it boots into the ram inside of the main OS booting people use it to quickly get online or to use it as a desktop that has the programs that you use, me personally i use it as a way to have my internet secure and i don't leave fingerprints on public computers

When do you usually use slax?
For those who have no idea what "slax" is, it is a pocket operating system based on linux. Refer to http://www.slax.org/ . Some use it as their main operating system, some use it ocasionnally.
