Let's say a magic genie grants you a wish to create a movie with a $25 million budget. What would you produce?

You only have 6 months to shoot the imaginary film. Show some photos of celebrities you'd use and other details. Would there be a special message behind the film? Would it be entertainment, artistic, educational or something else? Have fun.
Tip for best answer: M$0.25

To honest with you all, my movie idea is horrible. But it would get people to the movie theaters just to say "they saw it".

Now please hear me out before you get to the title.

If you gave me $25 million to create a movie, I would create:

"Back To The Future 4"

I know...really? But in a generation literally used to pointless and multiple sequels, BTTF 4 would only be adding to the fire. And since there are already many people who know about the series, they would go to the theater just to watch what it would end up being (like Indiana Jones 4 or the soon-to-be Ghostbusters sequel). Here's the plotline:

It's 2050, and Marty McFly (Michael J Fox) is on his latter years, living with his grandson's family, Micheal McFly (Shia LaBoef) and Scarlett McFly (Emma Watson...if she can pull an English accent). So far, Marty has never told Micheal about his time-traveling. During the beginning of the movie, Marty sudden gets a stoke amidst a family reunion. In the hospital, Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) pays Marty a surprise visit (since he really is supposed to be in the 1885 from BFFT 3) and tells him he has created the DeLorean again. Marty scolds Doc for going against his promise, not to tamper with the future again. Marty quickly grows worse in health, to the point where the nurse asks Doc sternly to leave. Depressed, Doc leaves. However, Micheal hears the argument late and tries to follow Doc out, but Doc disappears before Micheal can get outside.

Micheal upon going home discovers a picture with Doc and Micheal (the picture taken in 1885 by the clock tower-BTTF 3), where Jennifer McFly (Elisabeth Shue) tells him a story of how Micheal and Doc met, without giving the details of time-travel. Micheal soon realizes that there is no record of Marty before 1985 (Assuming Marty might not know what happened in his family history since it keeps alternating). Micheal does some intense work and finding out who his grandfather is, only to be stopped by Doc Brown himself, who tells Micheal that Micheal's future family is in deep trouble. After Micheal said his final good-bye to Doc (in the end of BTTF 3), Marty became depressed since his life never lived up to the excitement of his years of time-traveling. Doc informs that Marty's death is coming near, and the McFly family will go in disarray, leading lives of drug-dealing, robbing, and cheating. In able to avoid everything from ever affecting Marty, Micheal has to go back to 1985 and prevent Marty from even meeting Doc that night that changed everything (beginning of BTTF 1).

Despite Micheal's confusion, he decides to help Doc. Upon being briefed in what he has to do, he is then shipped into 1985, appearing in the same spot in 1985, approximately 20 minutes before Marty was supposed to meet Doc. Micheal drives to Marty's house, and empties Marty's gas tank. After Marty realizes that he has no gas, he calls Doc and says he can't make it. When Marty disappears back into the house, Micheal runs to the DeLorean, and heads back to 2050.

Upon returning, Doc Brown is not there to meet him. However, everything seems the same. Returning home, Marty and Jennifer are reading. Micheal hugs Marty, ecstatic his complete health. However, Marty doesn't have the slightest clue what's happening. Micheal then realizes that he's altered the future and Marty wouldn't know what happened. Marty one day asks Micheal if he wants to play catch (Micheal was a sports guy...his second encounter with his changed life). While playing catch, Micheal asks about Doc Brown. Marty, saying he's told this story many times before, talked about how he and Doc did many thing together, making inventions. However, there was a night where Doc said there was this great invention he wanted Marty there for, but was shot and killed before Marty could ever see it. News reports say that it was a time-traveling car; but though he believes Doc created one, he would have killed to be able to have that experience. When asked about the car, Marty said it was destroyed by the murderer.

I have more, but I feel I've written too much already. If you want to hear the whole story, you can e-mail me or ask for it. The pay would mainly be for the actors like Shia, Christopher, and especially Micheal. Both Christopher Lloyd and Micheal Fox would get the smallest screen-time possible because of their conditions (Lloyd with age, Fox with Parkinson). I think it would fun to know what would happen if the excitement was just erased forever.

Hope it answers your question...and I hope it's awesome.

25 mill is not much. I might do "Stranger in a Strange Land," by Robert Heinlein or "Caves of Steel," by Isaac Azimov, or "1632," by Eric Flint, or "On Basilisk Station," by David Weber. "Ringworld," would probably cost too much. Celebrities would definitely cost too much, but Johnny Depp would be interesting in "Stranger," and Colin Meaney would star in "Caves."
