The short answer is no. You pretty much have to show more than he said he wants the president killed. He has to take some kind of steps. Like if he offered a million dollars for instance.

The long answer is maybe. If this president turns out to be popular it could hurt Murdoch's business interests now and in the future.

Are you talking about the cartoon of the monkey being shot in the New York Post? If so you can be sure that Murdoch did not see that before it was printed AND that he would never advocate assassinating a president.

Despite the fact that Murdoch is known for Fox News and their conservative bent, he is actually more of a capitalist than a conservative. He own liberal properties in markets where that makes him more money to do so.
