Where can I buy a stun gun/tazer from online? Is it legal to keep one of these in your car in California?
I'm a tiny female who works late at a casino in California. I'm concerned about my safety and am considering carrying a gun or stun gun with me to work. I never get pulled over (drive a Prius, also I'm cute), so I'm not worried about getting caught with it.
What I am worried about is some sicko attacking me on the way to and from my car. If I had to use a gun or stun gun in self defense I'm confident I would get away with it.
So, where can I buy a stun gun online, and what's the legality of carrying one of these in Los Angeles?

According to this website, stun guns are not illegal in California.

I'm currently looking to see if there is specific legislation against this.
However, the best solution for your needs is:
a) park at the valet if your employer will allow this
b) share your concern with your employer and see if they will install cameras and lights where you park.
c) you're at a casino! there are armed guards everywhere. If you're so cute just ask one of them to walk you to your car!!!
hello!??!
Seriously, a gun or stun gun is NOT the answer to your concerns... common sense is!

I thought it interesting that simply by posting this question and looking at the page, you get to see ads for a bunch of companies trying to sell the item you are looking for.
You don't need an actual answer, as far as places to buy goes.
Do they have target ranges or weapons training for civilians with these things? Remember that any weapon, no matter how simple it looks, needs lots of practice and training to be more a danger to your opponent than yourself!

Yes, I would also like to echo this, in order to properly use a weapon of any kind, make sure you are fully trained with it first!
Also I don't recommend carrying a gun unless you absolutely have to. Especially a automatic.
If you absolutely must carry, then make sure you have a trigger lock and no small children around.
A stun gun however while still could be deadly is a much less lethal weapon.
Another option is from a company called pepperballtech called the pepper ball gun.

Not to be confused with pepper spray .
This might be a better option if you plan on walking to your car at night.
