As an added note Chief Judge W. Terry Ruckriegle decided to allow the accused sexual activity 72 hours before the rape to be admissible ( against current rape shield laws designed to protect the victim ). It would have been hard to prove the case after this decision....

According to msnbc.com, the rape case against Kobe Bryant was dropped because the accuser decided not to proceed.
