Since laptops became affordable to consumers, what has mobile computing growth been and where will it go?
This type of question can be pretty involved but because I am not offering a tip, a link to more detail would be very helpful. Initial googling has come up short on a subject that I am certain has many stats and theory's.

Though laptop would not take place of desktop in total,it is becoming more and more popular, with its average price lower, more people trend to buy one even as their second computer. And as we see, netbook has turn very popular since Asus released EeePC.Netbook is a special kind of laptop which represents this trend very well. They are cheap and easy to take. And MID-a more smaller digital service which is similar to cellphone but is much stronger is now being fastly developed.A recent report on iStockAnalyst reads: “Netbooks will almost certainly become the most popular PCs...Netbooks have reduced storage and processing capabilities. They cannot store and run big and complex games internally. They make up for this by having brilliant connectivity. ‘

Would you have some information on the growth of laptop use since say, early to mid 2000's? Do you have some numbers on overall mobile computing? Something that combines the laptop, netbook and smartphone markets?
