Get a can of compressed air and try blowing any dust or junk out of the keys. There might be something preventing it from being pressed.

You might just have some crud stuck in there somewhere, or something loose. One busted key shouldn't be a big deal to take to a local computer repair place and get fixed for a few bucks.

Dells had a hell of a time with individual keys (or whole columns) going out. The solution was, as odd as it seems, tighten the already tight screws on the laptop. just grab a small screwdriver and goto town on all of the screws you can find.

Don't know if this will solve your problem, but I know I've done it dozens of times.
