Apple has been making at 17" laptop that's thin and light for several years now. Are there any 17" Windows laptops that are close in size?
I went looking for a 1" thin Windows alternative a year ago and there was nothing. I know everybody loves to copy apple, isn't there any competition? Everything else I look at is 2" thick and 8lbs. Dell has a Vostro that's 1.6" thick. Surely there must be something close to the 17" macbook pro. The design is about four years old.

No there is not. And i dont say this just because im an apple fan boy. Apple focused on hardware and making it look super sexy. HP makes some decent laptops but nothing to compare to the style and software of Apple.
