It's good for both sides. I don't think it will matter who they have to give up. Matt Cassel needs to be on the field next season. The Patriots will really benefit from this though. They'll probably want a defensive player.

It does make sense for both teams, but from what I see the Patriots are going to want at least the Chiefs first round pick, which I can see the Chiefs parting with. After that it depends if the Pat's want anything else, and what else the Chiefs are willing to give up, my guess next years, 2nd or 3rd round pick also.
