k. in the questions i ask in that blue box says x amount of mahalo dollars. but in my real balane it's lower. so which do i go by?

I'm not really sure what you mean by "in the questions I ask" -- but here's an explanation of the balances shown on the profile page:
When you do a "cash out", your balance (at the top) will drop to zero, and will build back up until the next time you request payment.
