If you thought the movie was good, you need to ready the book. It's the story of the boy that was held captive at the ranch and forced to help Stewart Northcott with the crrimes. The movie's dipiction of the some of the events that occured on the ranch are not factual. The boy held at the ranch was Sanford Clark, he was actually the nephew of Stewart Northcott, the connvicted of the crimes. I don't believe that the movie indicated this family link. Also, while the movie shows a boy that escaped, the sad truth is that there were no survivors that got away from the hell that existed on that chicken ranch.
