I personally do feel he's a hero. You could tell in the news stories and interviews with the father of DeSean (and vice principal of the school) that he was in awe of the fact that Jullaion did that. He also seemed honored by the fact that Jullaion disproved the poor reputation that students at his school tend to have.
Jullaion deserves a lot of credit and praise for what he did, because I think the average person in that situation wouldn't have been so brave. Sure, Capt. Sully was a hero for saving a plane full of people, but to me all it really takes is saving one life to make your mark as a hero in this world. I definitely give Jullaion my compliments.
