Thoughts on the combination of comic book action and traditional movie Westerns? What do you think of the casting of Josh Brolin, John Malkovich and Megan Fox in the key roles? Will you go see this film in theaters? Why or why not?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

1. Josh Brolin was a good choice for Jonah Hex
2. Jonah Hex has supernatural powers? I don't think he does- and WHY?
3. Megan Fox is HORRIBLY miscast. She couldn't even attempt an accent.
4. Ditto for Lance Reddick (Fringe, the Wire) who decided "nah, this isn't the time I should show some acting range, maybe sound like I'm from this time period."
5. John Malchovich makes for a pretty good villain.
Overally, I'm somewhat optimistic about this film, but I've heard that it's going to be BAD. I reall, really don't think Megan Fox belonged here AT ALL. Yes, she's attractive, but she must've hit the acting wall here. She stinks!

I was excited for this movie, but I gotta say, I'm not encouraged by this trailer. Agree 100% on Fox and Reddick (who I really like in "Fringe"!). They seem extremely out of place.
