Jon Stewart just got into the Nerd of America Society! How do I join?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

It's a fake club (actually I bet there is a real one underground) but it was an inside joke between Steven Chu and John Stewart
Chu is a member of the National Academy of Science (N.A.S) and wanted to let John become an honorary member, but instead made him a member of the Nerds of America Society (N.A.S) and many chuckles were had.
But there is already a Nerd Society of America Facebook group

excellent! too bad it's a "fake club". The word Nerd shouldn't be an insult. Just because someone likes math, science and spiderman!!!
Sorry, I hit the wrong vote button. I wish we could go back and fix these. Def. best answer.
