What to expect when you become a journalist?

I'm stuck in a research paper about How to become a Editorial Writer. Does anyone have personal experience???? What can you expect after becoming a journalist?

They are many types of journalists.Journalist work in all types of media including newspapers,magazines,photo,television and online. Different types of journalists do different things and make different money.
Journalist write the articles,take the photographs and tackle the desktop publishing. The central duty is to report facts,be honest,to do good research and not to spread rumors or to announce things they have no proof of. Sometimes there is a very fine line between fact and a rumor or a fact and a commentary.
