There are many things you can do, but the competition is fierce and hiring has slowed to a near standstill.
First off, do you live in L.A. or New York? If not, it's rare that they'll pay for your move, so get yourself to the left coast ASAP.
Secondly, start spending 1-2 hours in the late morning and early afternoon on craigslist, entertainmentcareers, and all the studio job boards: disney (which owns ABC), nbc-uni (universal and NBC), viacom (CBS and many cable nets) and fox. And ask around to see if someone can get you the UTA job list.
There's a great blog, tempdiaries.com which has many job resources as well. The best thing you can do, however, is word of mouth. Get out in L.A. and start networking, put the word out and your friends will be your best bet. Also, contact the school where you got your degree, see if they have a job board or alumni group in L.A.

Looking for Production Assistant opportunities in Film/TV in LA. Know of a specific opportunity? Can you point me toward a good resource?
Resume available, background in celebrity marketing/publicity, looking to move into Production at the entry-level. Looking for opportunities such as the "Production Associates Program" at ABC Studios, or one-off opportunities just to get foot in the door.
