When I was much younger, I went to a job interview for an assistant store manager position. I was already a third key at another store. In the interview, I spoke about how stupid and horrible my district manager was. The interviewer laughed with me as I told her some of the funny stories about my district manager. I left the interview thinking it had gone well. Shockingly, I never heard back from them. Later of course, I found out that I had broken a cardinal rule for interviewing, which was to not badmouth your bosses.

I went to an interview for a clothing store manager. I was on the last day of antibiotics for a cold, and my nerves got so bad that I threw up right in front of the interviewer, believe it or not I did get hired mostly because of my resume or maybe they just felt sorry for me.
