We got a huge response to these type of questions because the ideas around Mahalo and knowledge search are compelling and complex. Over the last three years or so I've tried to get the idea into people's mind so that as we progressed they would get a deeper and deeper understanding of our product and the space.
As you can see there are other folks trying to solve the knowledge search problem including StumbleUpon, Delicious, twitter search, vark, chacha and the failed wikia search product. My goal is to have our name at the center of these discussion so, at the very least, people consider what we're doing.
So, it's not the ideas that are important, it's the discussion.
