I've done ''Heroes.'' I've done ''Lost.'' What other TV shows should I be watching and where can I find the back episodes?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

If you've done Heroes and Lost, you might like Sanctuary, on The Sci-Fi Channel. It's got Amanda Tapping from Stargate (s) as Helen Magnus, the brilliant head of a company who seeks to help Abnormals, as they term people with genetic mutations. Some of these people are sort of Hero-esque: they can teleport, become invisible, and have other abilities. Others are classic monsters. In the world of Sanctuary, "legendary monsters" whose stories persist through time and across cultures, like vampires and werewolves, are really accidental failures of spin control: the larger world should have never heard of them, real as they are.

Dr. Magnus lives in a rather Goth headquarters manor house/castle, and her business is to locate Abnormals that are struggling in the wider world and bring them to the Sanctuary, where they can live in piece.

There is a deeper backstory, involving why she's over 100 years old but her daughter is only 20; why her ex-husband can teleport; and just what it was that happened over 100 years ago when she first began working with Abnormals.

In this video, the Abnormals aren't just the freaky-looking ones. You never know who they are!

You can find episodes on both the SciFi Channel's website and Hulu.

If you're more into the sci-fi and mystery, Battlestar Gallactica got amazing reviews for its entire run. You can find that on DVD.

For action, you might go for 24, but I think they're in their eighth season now, so you have plenty of catching up to do.

In my opinion, The Wire and The Sopranos are two of the best one-hour dramas that were ever created. There's less action, mystery and nonexistant sci-fi. But in terms of amazing drama, it's tough to beat those two.

Firefly, Terminator:TSSC, Dark Angel, Jake 2.0, Battlestar Galactica

All are like Heroes/Lost in that they have sci/fi mixed with really complicated character relationships as well as darker themes about human nature, etc., but with some good dialogue and some funny one-liners occasionally.

if you have HBO true blood is a really good show as well as East bound and down ( but that has bad language) and you can watch the episodes on demand. If you have showtime Californication(bad language and sexual nature), Weeds( some sexual nature and marajuana) , and Dexter are all amazing and addictive series and you can watch the old episodes on demand as well, or the sell the dvds.
