Its there a way to fix a Kingston DataTraveller flash drive not recognized by my Mac?
I got a Kingston 2gb Data Traveller flash drive that is fairly new and hardly used. It was still working and was never reformated on my Macbook last time I used it. My sis borrowed it and used it on the office with a Windows PC and she said it wont work and wasn't recognized. I tried DiskUtility on my Macbook and it isn't recognized. But the flash drive LED lights up.

I'm not sure that this will work, but here is an interesting site about formatting a Mac drive including a flash drive.

It looks like it might work without erasing the data.

I already tried this and the problem is Disk Utility won't recognize the flash drive.
Got it. That makes me think that it got fried somehow.
