Is it sickening that the biological father of Caylee Anthony is not part of the story?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Ortiz, who passed away in a car crash when he was just 20-years-old."

That article clearly says "internet rumors suggest", and that Casey Anthony has never said that:
"Miss Anthony never told the family Jesus was the father or that he might be the father. In fact, the family has never met her and does not know her," attorney Bryan Crews said.
Ssmacd is correct...it is more than internet rumors, at a July 2008 bond hearing, Casey's attorney testified that he is dead, according to Casey of course.

Of course, that doesn't mean he is the father--but whoever he is, he may never have known he was the father--which could be why he's not involved.
