M$I have not spent much time at all learning about the religion so I'm certainly not an expert, but aren't there published texts written by Hubbard that discuss the subjects this audio presents?
Either way, whether the church moved away from these stories or never professed them in the first place, my opinion is that if the church as it stands today works for you then no need to pay attention to the stuff that depicts the religion in a light that you do not believe in or agree with.
