Isn't there a government registry for business money in the US like there is in Europe?
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Hi, @buckets!
I've lived in Germany, England and Spain and never heard of a government registry for business money. There is only a restriction on certain amounts that can be taken across certain borders, but not all of them.
Doing research on Google, I have only found a registry of unclaimed money in the US and that makes sense:
http://governmentregistry.org/index.php?xpath=lp_unclaimedmoney&code=&
I may be wrong, but the so called free enterprise would probably simply not happen in America (or elsewhere for that matter) if one would have to register all one's business money.
In case I AM wrong on this subject, I would suggest to hire a chartered accountant who would know everything about issues like that. Also, a bank manager will be able to give you short advice and in which direction to look for if you wanted to know more.
Hope, this helps!
