Why should any politician be concerned about what we think or mainstream values? Its total "do as I say not as I do" mentality.

There are no tax dollars involved just Republican fat cats.
If the Democratic party had been in the same situation it would not be particularly hypocritical because they are opposed to censorship, support gay and lesbian rights, and generally don't make a big deal about so called family values.
The Republicans are caught being hypocritical on many levels. They claim to be conservative family friendly. They oppose gays and lesbians. They pretend to be the party of Bubba Six- Pack and his old lady Miz Hallelulia but here they are at a $2000 a table decadent rich persons' erotic club.
By the way, that Pelosi stuff is right wing propaganda with no reality behind it. It's easy to research, I've answered a question on it here once or twice.

If you think the dems aren't hypocritical also, you're not worth debating. From my first statement, I think they are all (Republicans and Dems - for the most part) crooks, cheats, and liars. Pelosi did ask for a plane that would get her non-stop from DC to CA. This would obviously be a bigger or better plane that would cost more money. She didn't care, she just didn't want to be inconvenienced. Why the hell can't they fly commercial anyway - the lot of them. (and yes I know Bush after 911 - ordered that the Speaker fly military aircraft)

You're asking WHY using tax dollars to take a bunch of politicians to a lesbian bondage club is not good family values? Same reason its not ok to kill someone - because it isn't.

Pelosi running her family around the country in private jets. All the dems taking private planes to Copenhagen for a BS climate summit, and drinking thousands of dollars of alchohol on the way, Obama - No more backroom deals, transparency, etc - then you have the Lousiana purchase and the Nebraska buyoff to get the health care through. Come on - they are all crooked.
My iniial point is that they are all poluted to some degree. They don't care what we think of them, they will continue to take advantage of their office, not listen to those they are governing, and the corruption will continue until you get some real leadership in DC.

The question seemed pretty retorical. Can you make an arguement for visiting a club like this being good family values??? The Republicans are investigating the expense, I don't think anyone came out defending this use of funds for the trip to this club. If they did, I'd like to see the source.
