Yes. They waged a campaign to eradicate the Armenians. They gave the Kurds free pass to kill and pillage while undertaking a campaign of forcible removal. Robert Fisk's book "The Great War for Civilisation" details much of the genocide. Depressing stuff.

Stupid communists at the Democratic Party, posing as visionary socialists, undusting old attic affaires from far distant allies. Now these clowns ignited a bomb that exploded in their own faces stirring Turkey's nationalistic fiber today with anti-US outburst all over the place.
¿Why these democratic morons started the issue? ¿Why did they brought this sensible issue to the agenda? They certainly pissed Turkey's sentiment, it was not necessary to do this. Now, you insulted an allied vital to the US strategic deployment in the region, a member of NATO and a gatekeeper of the Bosporus strait, used to access the Black Sea, Georgia, Armenia and all the revolting region the US wants to bring under its umbrella.
Now, that plan is going to the drain thanks to democrats fools that still think USA should behave like the world's cop and law enforcer.
