Is Tool making a new album? Any ideas on when we can hear some new stuff?
Was listening to 10,000 days today and was wanting to know if there's any new material on the horizon for this awesome prog-rock band!!

There have been a few interviews (Guitar World I think, and some others I can't remember) that mentions the band members have been independently working on side projects (Maynard and his wine, Adam Jones has been writing comics, Danny Carey has musical side projects, etc).
Also, according to toolband.com, they have begun the writing process.
This is the nature of Tool album releases though, and is part of their process. We will know for sure when the album hits the shelves. =)
