Is there such a thing as nervous stomach? My stomach only growls when I'm in a quiet class.
Even if I think about it happening on a full stomache it will happen.it only happens in a real quiet class that is usually my hardest class.

The reality might be that you're nervous... period. Perhaps in the silence you start to ruminate on the difficulty of the class and what that means to you.
Let's face it... you're in your hardest class and seem to be invoking the "fight, flight or freeze" response (aka anxiety). Your body is preparing itself to do one of those three things. Although your logical minds knows there's nothing frightening, your Amygdula is reacting.
