How they managed to convince anyone that the piles of bricks, the sheep preserved in a tank of formaldehyde and Tracy Emins infamous dirty, unmade bed could be considered good art is inexplicable to me!
I do like modern art, and many other types, but these examples are just ridiculous.
I suppose it's a little like food, give twenty different people the same meal and they will all have different opinions on how good it is!
So I think that the only standards are being set by the proprietors of the worlds top art galleries, who decide what is to be put on exhibition, although as far as I am concerned, some of them need their eyes testing!
