I noticed that whenever I post a tweet, immediately I get hit with one or two new followers. Almost 8 out of 10 are spammers or scammers. Spotting them is really easy: if the follower has tweets about stuff that they do, then it is a normal person. If instead you see literally no tweets and following 500 people, that's a spammer.
