Is there software available that can translate WAVs from the audio of TRS-80/PET data tapes back into code?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I can't test it myself; but, I think they still do this sort of thing in Europe.

M$I have the audio in WAV format; that's not a problem. Also, there is a fairly deep emulator community that's written software for TRS-80 and PET emulations, so I know that it's possible someone may have encountered this problem before. Just wondering if someone else has done it before I write the software to do it myself. :)

Hey, that looks like what I might be looking for! I'll give it a try and see (open to other suggestions of anyone else has another resource).
