Is there one site you can go to where you can review rules and rule changes by year for the sport of Football?

Professional Football is certainly a true American sport. I was wondering if there is any one site that can be visited with links to the rules of the game at both the professional and collegiate levels? I was also wondering if [Canadian rules differed from American rules and in what way? Are the field dimensions the same at all levels in both countries? Is the same number of officials used at all levels of play? When played at the Pee Wee, Grade School and High School levels are there any restrictions, such as weight placed on the athletes making them either eligible or ineligible for play? Is there a training school for officials of the game? Is there a chronological list of professional rule changes over the years?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Well, in my searching I was not able to find one site that held all the rules to every league. I’m actually sort of surprised that there isn’t a site that at least has the links to the various rule books in one place. I would imagine the fact that both for the college, and the pro game, there are just so many rules it would be hard to keep track of everything. For the college game, on the NCAA’s official website there is a link to a PDF version of the rules, as well as several different reports, including the Rules Committee Report and the Rules Committee Actions. I would imagine these two links would tell you what changes had been made to the rules in the most recent year.

As far as the NFL goes, it does not appear that they have the same kind of listing of rules changes, but there is a link on the league’s official website to their rule book, as well as a digest so that the average fan can more easily find the rules that apply to a specific area.

I am sure ESPN.com has it for sure.

It would help if you could supply a direct link. I would not want to spend time searching and come up with nothing.
