Is there golf courses at university?
I want to study golf at university, what schools offer golf degrees? Can I get credits for taking golf classes in university?

I know that most universities and colleges have golf teams but I don't know of any that offers a golf degree. If the college offers gym courses, then perhaps there might be one for golf for some credits.
If you wanted a golf degree so you can become a professional golfer, that's not the way to do it. To become a professional, you must play a lot of golf and get excellent at the game. By playing on a golf team in college, that might help you achieve your goal. There are numerous great golf programs at the collegiate level. Do a Google search to find the best golf programs. Generally, warm climate areas are the best for golf since the season lasts nearly year round. The courses the teams play on are usually not part of the campus, but a good public course or country club nearby that is used for their home course. To be good enough of a player to be on a college golf team, you should be playing for years prior to that. Unless you are a natural. But even Tiger Woods would not have made his college team had he not started as a young boy.

The first question.....are there golf courses at college...yes, many colleges / universities have golf courses. I found a list of over 50 universities with golf courses just by searching on the word university on www.GolfCourseRanking.com. The list of over 50 "University" courses can be seen below. Of course there are many additional college courses that do not have university as part of the name of the course.
Second: Yes, there are colleges that offer credit and degrees in golf...but not for golf play. The degrees are for course management or course maintenance..agronomy.
