Is there free parking at Comerica Park Detroit?
My friend is going to Comerica Park for a game. He is looking for a place in the area where he can park for free since he will be taking his car there instead of riding in the bus. Are there any places on the street or fast food restaurants near the park too? It would be convenient for him to know this beforehand so he will be able to plan his trip and avoid any unnecessary inconveniences.

I don't think there is any free parking for people there to watch the game who are not in buses. You might consider however parking at the nearby Greektown Casino and getting your ticket validated for free inside. With validation you simply show your parking slip and they stamp it then parking frees are voided. Don't forget to validate if you go this route because parking there has a fee if not validated, but it's free to do so.
