Is there anyway to get out of an auto lease? If so, how would one go about it?

Tip for best answer: M$2.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The best way is to have someone to legally take over the lease, like xds said. However, you have to check with your lease company to make sure that they accept lease swaps and what regulations they have, as each company is different.
This is a well-known and reputable Web site where you can post an ad for the lease: http://www.swapalease.com
There are fees associated with placing an ad on this Web site. Despite the name of the site, you don't have take over someone else's lease.

DotNetAllDay, RandomLoser 's comment not withstanding, your best bet would probably be a change of responsibility venture with someone that might be interested in the vehicle you have your lease with. This is a very standard process you can discuss with your dealership, all insurance and registration costs would most certainly be covered. And It would probably save allot of aggravation in the long run.

Good Luck,

Nooooo that would most certainly cause injury and possible death.
Fraudulent and against about a dozen laws.
Their are much better ways of handling this.
