Is there anything I can do about premature graying?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Usually premature gray hair is caused by genetics, but there can be some exceptions. Stress is not said to cause gray hair, but there are some medical conditions and even a vitamin B12 deficiency that could be the culprit.
I would start with a visit to the doctor. Discuss your concerns and perhaps he can rules some things out. Some medical conditions that are said to cause early graying are Werner Syndrome and Vitilgo. Pituitary or Throid problems may also cause the hair to gray early.
If you find out you have any of these conditions and have them treated or corrected, chances are you can reverse the premature graying problem you are facing.
