Is there any way to tell which of my answers were considered unhelpful?
I know I can log out/use another browser and look and see what people have rated my questions, but that's cumbersome and time consuming - but it seems to be the only way to see things. Furthermore, when the questions are closed, if my answer wasn't chosen as the best, I can't see those numbers even when logged out.
A side question to go along with this - is there any way to see how people have voted on questions without actually voting?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

A lot of people are wondering this. I think it may be a good suggestion to email the people in charge: feedback@mahalo.com

M$Right now you have 100 answers so I could probably go over them pretty quickly.

M$This is in combination to your previous reply and this one:
Yes, answers are automatically "helpful", which I am aware of, but what I'm looking for is to be able to see which of my answers weren't, for now and for future usage.
Thank you for offering to look through them, but it's not quite what I'm looking for. I already have looked at a bunch of my answers. The problem is that when something has been closed, I can't even see how many people rated something as helpful or unhelpful.
I suppose it's not a feature at this point in time. feedback@mahalo shall be receiving an email from me on this, I suppose.
If anyone else has any knowledge, I'll leave this open for a bit to see what the responses are. Thanks!
Just go to your profile when your logged out and you can see all the questions you've answered and then go into the question to see your ratings.
And if you use two seperate browsers (IE and FF) you can keep one logged in to answer and one logged out to check answers

M$Lol yes i saw that just now and tried to edit it out before i looked like an idiot. Oh well!
I guess my only really valid suggestion would be to use two separate browsers. It's been working decent for me so far
Try re-reading my question - it includes all of what you said and more! I made an effort to figure this out before I posted the question.
Thanks for trying, though :)
True. Let's just hope this feature is added in the near-future. Hopefully many users will be sending a request for this to feedback@mahalo.com.
Yeah, I do that, but I can't look at the results from older answers that have a best answer already.
I have found where you can view unhelpful answers.
From your profile page, if you click on "answers", there's a little segment to the left where you can look at "best" "helpful" and "unhelpful" answers. It was hiding just under everyone's noses apparently.
You get half credit. Thanks for the help. Apparently, under the answers tab, you can get to "unhelpful answers" now. Maybe it was just added, maybe not.
It WAS just added! Wonderful!
I think it puts all the answers in the helpful comment by default otherwise the percentages are very skewed. There was a question that pointed this out and soon afterwards mahalo updated the way it was displayed.
Hm. Interesting.
