Is there any way to add a checkbox to a document in Google Docs?
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

This is a very interesting question. I would like you to expand on it. I use Google docs every day, and I like your concept. What would you use it for?

ah, html bits don't work on mahalo - I meant:
<input type="checkbox" />
(ah! you can't write html in mahalo comments!)
well not only that, but it's also nice to print out.
I was making a check-list last night of things I have to do every day for the next couple of weeks, and I just wanted to include some nice-looking checkboxes that I can tick with a pen. Though I'm sure people would want to know how to do it to share documents too, that does seem like a more practical use, given the service's function ;) .
I thought I had found the solution to this last night, because you can add HTML to a document, so this works:
But then as soon as it saves, the checkboxes disappear! Most frustrating.
So you are looking to make a document that has a checkbox that people can check? Nice idea. I see that there is a suggestion for this in doc help; http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Google+Docs/thread?tid=62e7abe8c994fe90&hl=en
