There is no waiting period between plowing and planting crops on the game Farmville. As soon as a patch of your farm has been plowed you can click on the patch and choose the type of seed you wish to plant. If you plow a large area of your farm and then plan on planting the same seed in many of the plots, you just have to choose the seed once. Then as your pointer hovers over each different plowed square you click again and the same seed will be planted.
Using the plow and the seeder are two ways to speed up the process. This allows you to do up to nine plots at once depending on what size machine you have. The crops on Farmville are not seasonal, though they do sometimes offer different things during different seasons. These are usually specialty crops of some sort. You are not limited by the real weather or growing conditions of a particular climate.
