Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The first thing to do to save money online is to use a price comparison website. There are many of these on the internet, and it's probably best to use more than one to ensure you are getting the best deal available.
According to Smartmoney.com, the best two currently are:
Pricegrabber.com http://www.pricegrabber.com/
Yahoo Shopping http://shopping.yahoo.com/

However, more are listed on the smart money.com website: http://www.smartmoney.com/spending/deals/which-comparison-shopping-site-is-best/

The next tip to use to save money while shopping online is to shop through a cashback site. Although this doesn't technically save you money, as you still spend the full amount, it does give you a small percentage back. This usually varies between 5-10%.

By shopping on certain websites, you can gain loyalty points or use a loyalty card. On some websites you can gain free delivery, even though sometimes they take a few extra days to arrive, if you shop online a lot, they can save you a lot of money in the long run.

There is more information on the following websites:

You might also consider signing up for Ebates, where you get discounts and cash back at any of 1,200 online stores. To quote their site, "There are no points to redeem, no forms to mail in, and no fees. Stores pay Ebates a sales commission for sending shoppers their way, and Ebates uses the commission to pay you cash back. All we need is an email address so we can notify you when your cash back has been credited."

I've been using eBates and have gotten money back as well as discounts on those same items. The money back was paid to me through PayPal.

See: http://www.ebates.com/index.do (That's not a referral code, but you can earn cash back by making referrals.)

Hi. Online shopping is great for several reasons. First of all, you have time to Shop around, meaning you can see where the best bargains are, without driving from one store to another! And I have seen with online shopping, there are always good deals. You should take your time, when looking for the desired article online. I find Amazon.com the best for online shopping, but that's just my opinion. I live out of the U.S. so use Amazon a lot for shopping, as can't find most of the things here. But, I don't rush in and buy straight away. I look through all the deals, and special sales. You can compare with other online sites, as it's quick and easy from your computer. As money is tight, I am always very careful to purchase only the articles that are on my list, as just as any other shop, there are always other goods to tempt you will you are browsing! I quite often buy gifts in advance, when there are sales, and this saves money as well. And always shop at a reputable online shop, as money is too precious, to be wasted on a scam!

The first thing I do is look for an item I want or need. Then if I find a store that has that item I go to CouponCabin to see if they have any codes for shipping or for some sort of sale. I then shop around Amazon to see if they have that item.

Ebay might but they don't always have a "true" sale on items and charge the regular store prices. There is also an online place called "Ebates" that will give you cash back on your purchases, so that's worth looking into.

Unless you are in a rush to purchase items, remember upcoming holiday sales: Valentine's, Mother'sDay and Father'sDay should all have good prices going for you online. Also the month of February is known to hold good department sales on linens and such.

So codes is key as is looking for multiple stores.
