Is there any place that I can design the shape of my own rimless glasses?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

You can make your eyeglasses frames from wood or a vinyl record. See the pictures and video:

Hopefully this helps, mahimahi!

M$I've searched the net and can't find a service that offers what you're looking for. It looks like "cutting edge technology" for eyeglass sites is the ability to snap a photo using a webcam and "try on" the inventory they have available.
I know that my local mom-and-pop eyeglass store will custom make many of their glasses to maintain a profit margin in the face of discount stores.
I've heard and seen them trim lenses to fit frames and with my own rimless glasses, the owner drilled the holes for to attach the nose and side pieces I ordered.
Within reason, I think that a small shop with this capability in your area could do this for you. However, I don't think that you will be able to find a store online that will go to this extra effort.
That's a really good idea. If it works out locally, you should develop (or find someone to develop) the front-end for what you've envisioned. I'd highly suspect that you could license / whitelabel the system to the online eyeware leaders.
