Is there any Linux equivalent to ableton live?
Can't yet ditch the Windows until I can use Reason and Ableton under linux.

You could check out
Rosegarden: http://www.rosegardenmusic.com/
Ardour: http://ardour.org/
or Ubuntu Studio: http://ubuntustudio.org/
Or try running Ableton under Linux using Wine: http://www.winehq.org/ which is reported to work decently depending on your version of Ableton.
Generally, though, you may be best off dual booting for now.
