Is there any Linux equivalent to ableton live?

Can't yet ditch the Windows until I can use Reason and Ableton under linux.
Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Not really.
You could check out
Rosegarden: http://www.rosegardenmusic.com/
Ardour: http://ardour.org/
or Ubuntu Studio: http://ubuntustudio.org/
Or try running Ableton under Linux using Wine: http://www.winehq.org/ which is reported to work decently depending on your version of Ableton.

Generally, though, you may be best off dual booting for now.
