Is there any difference between Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Acrobat Pro?

Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Yes, there is a difference between Acrobat and Acrobat pro. Since the creation of the version2.0, Adobe Acrobat packages have been coming in both standard and professional packages, although more packages may be produced, the standard and the professional are the common ones.

The difference between the standard and the professional package is usually in the features they have. the Adobe Acrobat professional packages usually contain all the features that you can find in the standard package and also have other enhanced features that are missing in the standard package.

Their prices also differ; the Adobe Acrobat professional packages usually have a higher rate than the Adobe Acrobat standard packages due to the excess features and functionalities that they have.

When they are introduced into the marketplace, users can download a free trial version of both packages or choose the one that suits their needs.

As the name suggests adobe acrobat professional is commercial portable document file (pdf) software which contains full features of the software. For example in acrobat professional you can amend a pdf file, include pdf files from different sources rearrange them through pagination, you can convert or scan paper documents, photos, spreadsheets, emails websites etc., to PDF from any application like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Corel Draw, Photoshop etc.

Through acrobat professional you are able to export and edit any pdf file without going into its original source to edit. You can also create different forms for putting up on your website or send them through email. All these features are not included in adobe acrobat, which usually is called adobe acrobat reader. It can be downloaded free of charge. But acrobat professional is commercial software and comes at a price.
