Is there an IRA Calculator somewhere online?

Who has the best Calculator for determining retirement assets like an IRA? Does it calculate over a given period of time, or do I have to specify?
Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

There is a link: http://www.bankrate.com/calculators/retirement/401-k-or-roth-ira-calculator.aspx : where you can find 401k or Roth IRA calculator online. To view this you will have to have some additional plugins but if you don't, there is option to download the plugin.

This calculator requires a Java-enabled browser. To download the plugin, click here (there is a box, just click in the center to download the plugin).

Hope this helps.

Some retirement income calculator sites are too simple to be used for retirement planning, but I found some excellent Retirement Income Calculator Tools at the site below, including these:

• Firecalc - for analyzing your savings goals.

• MSN's Retirement Calculator - takes Social Security benefits into account.

• Kiplinger's Calculator - Less Effective Calculators bases income need on current gross income, with the lowest percentage for retirement being 80%.
