Is there a way to synch/download podcasts on my iPod Video from multiple PCs without using iTunes?

This is an old-school iPod with no wifi, and I'm limited to the Windows platform, but I'm not adverse to using something like RockBox. I listen to lots of podcasts, but I'm always forgetting to synch up when I'm at home, and I don't want to install iTunes on my work computer. I think this means that the iPod itself would have to somehow keep track of the RSS feeds, but I haven't the slightest idea how to go about doing it.
Tip for best answer: M$3.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

With Floola you can add music and videos to your iPod from any computer, and all it takes is a simple drag-and-drop. That means you're no longer locked into any one computer or iTunes library. You can add music or videos to your iPod from a friend's computer just as easily as from your own. And since Floola is cross platform, that means that you can put the Windows and Mac versions of Floola on your iPod and add songs from either a PC or a Mac (awesome, right?).

What's more, you'd be very surprised to see how quickly and easily you can add an album or two to your iPod from any computer using Floola.

Excellent answer, and I LOVE Molly Wood, but I think this still presents me with a problem of keeping my podcasts synched up. Also, though this may be beyond the scope of my original question, this doesn't quite solve my other issue: I hear about a great podcast while listening to another podcast while driving to work. I get to work and want to download that podcast, so I add it to my Work's iTunes library, but, uh oh, what about my home library? I suspect I may need to figure out how to actually host the library on my iPod (or on the cloud!) so that it's always reflecting the latest state of my podcast listening. Perhaps this is possible on an iPod Touch or, heaven forbid, an iPhone (work requires I carry a BB)?

You may be the perfect candidate for RockBox.

From the faq at http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/GeneralFAQ

< QUOTE >
Q: Does Rockbox require Windows Media Player or similar MTP software to transfer music?

a: No. Depending on what player you have, you can either access the device as a USB Mass Storage (UMS) device through the original firmware or through Rockbox. This setting causes the device to act as a standard drive when plugged into a USB port, allowing you to simply drag and drop files or use a syncing program of your choice.
< END QUOTE >

drag and drop, baby. solves you "one iPod ... multiple computers" problem.

I suspected as much. Does anyone have a suggestion for a Podcast feed reader that can be run from an iPod-as-USB drive?

YamiPod seems to be workable for this. I've had mixed results using it so your mileage may vary. I'll stick a link to YamiPod as well as a comparison list on Wikipedia of iPod managers for your review.
