Is there a way to sync Google Docs with Apple's iWork '09?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I am sorry. There is no current way that I know of that can achieve this. Google Docs is using a different 'system' than iWork. I'm sure Apple and Google can work on it but I'm not sure that they will release something soon or even at all. Apple released iWork.com mid January. This is very similar to Google Docs although you cannot edit documents online. Other people can comment on them but no editing. This is just one click action from iWork's Pages, Numbers and Keynote.

I think this video best demonstrates it.

The service is in Beta and currently free. Apple did mention during the Macworld '09 Keynote that there will be a fee later on once it goes out of Beta but that fee is currently unknown.

So will they come out with any official syncing in the near future? I doubt it. Google Docs and iWork have been labelled at the competitors for online office applications ( http://lifehacker.com/5124596/apple-to-take-on-google-docs-with-iworkcom ).

I dunno if this might help you out but it does seem cool. You can open certain files from Firefox into Google Docs. It won't work with iWork (yet?). And anyway, you will have to zip all your iWork document files before putting them online. http://www.technobuzz.net/open-file-google-docs/

Well, sorry to disappoint but I hope someone will come out with a plug in or something.

Me. I have done research into this because I was looking for the same solution before.
