Is there a way to stream my Computer Audio to my iPod Touch?
Anyone know of a (cheap, preferably free) app that'll do this?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

in the settings, you can choose the bitrate for the video, and one of the options is just audio.

M$Download the app "Remote". You can connect via wifi to your computer with it and play music from iTunes on your computer without even having to touch it.
I'm an iPod touch owner.

M$Wow. Haha, I wont pay more than maybe $2.99 for an app unless it has really good reviews.. then maybe $4.99. =P The most expensive app I have is Yahtzee! ($2.99) and I play it every day almost. That game is so addicting.
Actually, turns out that you can! There are two apps that can do it for the iPhone.
Airphones will stream audio from you computer over to your iPod touch. However there are some issues with video/audio sync.
However the best app I found was Airfoil from Rogue Amoeba. While at first I thought it may only work with airport extremes/expresses turns out that it works over just regular old wifi aswell. The best part is it features a special application that makes sure your video and audio will be in sync, and the iPhone app is free. The only downside is it's a bit more expensive, $25, but so far its been worth it!
