Is there a way to create online videos with "chapter markers".
So I'm working on putting together an interactive lecture for class and want to have the streaming video with "chapter markers" allowing viewers to quickly jump to specific segments of the video.
I know that people like Revision 3 have a custom solution, and TED has the best example of what I'm trying to do - an example here:

I don't really care how its implemented (flash or quicktime) so long as it works.
Any solutions would be fantastic!

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Quicktime Pro will do it
See the part on the link below about adding chapter tracks to streaming movies. I see alot of streaming podcasts like this, like ABC's News webcast.
here is a tutorial on doing it in flash using Video event..can't get any simpler than the way Demetri has it laid out.
