There is definitely a monthly magazine for Chicago – it is called Chicago Magazine. In recent issues, Chicago Magazine has covered things like “The Best Pizza in Chicago”, “The Best Elementary Schools” and great “Fall Weekend” destinations. The magazine is part of the Tribune family of companies and covers a wide range of topics including profiles with famous Chicago celebrities, dining, entertainment, shopping and real estate. Chicago Magazine has over 1.5 million subscribers and has an online presence at www.chicagomag.com.
One their own website, subscriptions are available for $12 per year ($1 per issue), but I have seen offers that are significantly lower than that.
