Although there are many foundations on the market that claim to have great coverage, most of those products may not give you the coverage you need without looking caked on, or unnatural which in most cases, draws more attention to what you’re trying to cover up than disguise it.
Dermablend is a makeup that has been on the market for years and was developed primarily for this reason, to cover up scars. The trick when applying Dermablend, which is somewhat thicker than liquid foundation and doesn’t glide on as well as creams, is to apply with a moist sponge to get the best coverage possible. Although Dermablend offers an entire product line, if your scars aren’t too severe I would suggest trying the foundation first and use your regular translucent powder over it.
